YACHT TEST - Jeanneau 57 from Split, Croatia
Tested Yacht: Jeanneau 57, production year 2011
Location of the boat: Marina Kaštela, Split area, Croatia
Jeanneau 57 is a luxury sailing yacht - masterpiece of Jeanneau Yachts shipyard. Our test model Jeanneau 57 can be rented bareboat, but only if you are experienced skipper.
For this size of the yacht we recommend skippered charter- yacht has many additional equipment and if it is booked bareboat , skipper needs to have a good sailing experience with yachts of the similar size, and also has to be prepared for many additional features this beautiful and luxury sailing yacht has.
Our Jeanneau 57 from marina Kaštela- Split has 5 cabin layout- and 4 toilets/ heads. 4/5 cabins are having double beds, and one bow cabin has bunk bed layout. It is possible to connect bow cabins in one large master cabin, so boat would have then 1 master cabin with own toilet, 2 guest cabins with large beds and own toilets, and one additional front cabin with toilet for skipper. Skipper can use window as cabin entrance/ so guests can enjoy maximal comfort on board of this beautiful sailing yacht.
Jeanneau 57 has extremely large saloon, with light sofas and armchairs and many great equipment to make your stay on board as luxury as possible.
Dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, air conditioner, generator.. and do I need to say free wi-fi, boat PC, teak deck, electric winch, electric toilets- equipped for your luxury sailing holidays with this Jeanneau 57 you will want to stay minimum for 14 days!
The cockpit of the Jeanneau 57 is comfortable and very well arranged, with the forward section designed for lounging, and aft section with large twin wheels and large sitting area. Our tested model had original Jeanneau cockpit and lounge cushions- and it was extremely luxury experience comparing to other charter yachts.
Jeanneau 57 is offering plenty of space on the large teak deck.
We have tested Jeanneau 57 during October- 4 days sailing trip / team building and it was a perfect yacht for luxury team building event. Yacht is very stable during rough weather and heavy October winds.
Our crew of 6 girls and one professional skipper enjoyed comfort on Jeanneau 57, and all of the additional equipment which is not usual for a charter yacht.
Saloon was very comfortable, so even friends from the other boat could join us and we were not feeling crowded, while every cabin has very large bed, offering a hotel standard comfort. Our crewed was impressed by large cockpit and deck, and skipper liked dinghy garage.
Jeanneau 57 sails great and boat , sailing 10 knots on 12 knots of the wind! We were sailing up to 14 knots with 18-20 knots of the wind.
I would recommend Jeanneau 57 for luxury skippered holidays- with this beautiful sailing yacht you will have this “all eyes on you” effect when entering any port.
